This session will draw from global climate justice programmes to explore how to ensure meaningful inclusion in the design, implementation, and evaluation of future initiatives. Using the Scottish Government’s Climate Just Communities (CJC) programme in Rwanda as a case study, it will focus on intersectional approaches that will empower marginalized groups. Discussions will further address how these initiatives can create a lasting legacy of inclusion in global climate action.
